About Me

Mel Rowsell

Hi, I'm Mel! For much of my life, I avoided the hard conversations
—the ones that matter most.

I often put my own needs second to others, and even when something was really important to me, I didn’t feel like I could speak up. Over time, I built up a narrative that I was a pushover, someone who couldn't stand up for herself. Sound familiar?

But here's the thing: I learned that avoiding tough talks wasn't helping anyone—not me, and certainly not the people around me.

I discovered that you don’t have to be a “meanie” to have a hard conversation. You don’t have to bulldoze over someone to get your point across. I learned a new way—one that’s honest, direct, and still kind.

Now, I feel confident saying what I need to say, knowing that I’m not shitting on the other person in the process.

Over the years, I’ve shared this approach with countless people, and it’s made a real difference in their lives, just like it did in mine.

I’m here to show you how to face those tough conversations head-on without losing your cool—or your compassion.
